So I got a 'pregnancy ticker' online tonight and wanted to see if it works. No chance I'll have a bald baby, but it will be fun to watch him move closer to the finish line. Meanwhile my belly moves closer to the keyboard. :)

Nonnie's Boy

We have come to affectionately call Ty "Nonnie's boy." This morning he was admiring a quilt that Nonnie made (my mom) and Cara said 'Ty, do you know who made that? It's your favorite person in the whole world.' So I said "Ty, who's your favorite person?" (fully expecting him to not understand what I was asking) and he says "Nonnie" with this sheepish grin and happy eyes. So funny. No mention of Nonnie before that - he came up with that on his own. We stopped at Sonic in Burnet on our way home from Liberty Hill. The only way we could get Ty to leave LH was to tell him we were going to Sonic. The minute we back out of the drive-in, he says 'let's go to nonnie's house now' as if we were going to drive to Burnet and eat and go back to Nonnie's. Poor thing. He's in love. :)

The familia

Well our family has increased by one person. Cara Bebee, missionary to unreached people groups, is living with us for a few weeks before she embarks on her journey. It's good to have her around. She cooks, cleans and helps chase Ty. Shea and her are enjoying as much of each other as possible. Jacob and Ty are ready for Christmas. When I opened my eyes this morning I saw a fat chubby face staring at me (no it wasn't a mirror) and Ty said Merry Cistmas Daddy, but its not Cistmas yet he was quick to correct. They are so sweet and so full of energy. Ministry things are good. You can read about all that on my blog - Po's Page.

Our house is beggining to look a lot like Christmas. Shea and Cara have made it look great. I carried in the tree and got out of the way. This is a great time of year, but alwasy very busy. We have several church functions going on and it doesn't stop there. We'll be in Austin and Lubbock for Christmas. Its not a requirement, but it makes most people happy.

Well...I am going to encourage Shea to help me keep this up. Thats sounds familiar huh. Really we will make an effort this time though. Hope you are all well.

Last post

The last post was actually from Sylas. I know must of you could probably figured that out. This post is also from Sylas. Bye!!!

Its Been A Long Time

Not sure if anyone will read this, but I thought I would take a few second to make a blog. I will try and be more frequent. For those of you that haven't heard Shea and I are expecting #3. This has been by far the toughest pregnancy for Shea, so we are almost certain its a girl. Only a female could cause someone so much grief. (Only playing). Congrats to our Gerlt friends on the new edition to their family. I had tears in my eyes when I heard about God's Sovereignty and Provision through the pregnancy. We miss our friends that have moved off for seminary and work and things. Ministry in Eldorado is booming. God is doing some very cool stuff. The ministry of students has grown to 55 on Wednesday nights. Its exciting to see kids hunger for the Word of God and not just come to play games. Shea and the boys went to see Barnyard this afternoon. I am on my way to watch Eldorado play football and then head to Austin for Texas vs. Ohio State tomorrow. I am honestly giddy over the whole thing. I can't wait. A great friend blessed me and 5 of my friends with tickets. (Eron - if you read this know that I wanted you to go with me.) Thats really all I have for now. Please pray for us as often as you think about it. Our once small in numbers family is growing into huge boys. Its great and we love it most of the time. Call, email or blog. We hope to hear/see you all soon.
